Burnout Radio #TejasCrew Birthday Tweetup Jan 2010 @gmtexas

I attended a Tweetup tonight at Dave & Busters in Dallas.  A Tweetup is a gathering in person of individuals who otherwise know each other via Twitter.  The Tweetup was hosted by Burnout Radio & Team Hall & Naas.

The event tonight was a combination of a #TejasCrew get together and joint birthday party for Nick and Charlie of Burnout Radio.  TejasCrew is a twitter list started by Burnout Radio of Automotive bloggers / media / enthusiasts located in Texas.

The three individuals kind enough to model CaddyInfo hats are Amber, Charlie, and Nick, of BurnoutRadio.com

As I have found in my limited experience in Tweetups, a good time was had by all (barring the seating issue).

Here we have two of the guys from txGarage,  and Amber of Burnout Radio & Classic Chevrolet.

Somehow not pictured are Barry Lowman, or the Burnout Radio videographers (who hid behind their menus), or several people who either were missing when I ran around to grab photos (Trent) or I just missed (sorry).  I was also there, but not pictured.  Several people at the get together actually have an EYE for photography, and I’m the only one taking pictures.

The food was good at Dave & Busters, and the Service was attentive.  It took us literally hours to get a table, with some of our party giving up and leaving before we got seated.  So I would have to say that part makes D&B a pass for future general Tweetup planning in my book.  However, it is Nick’s favorite place in the world, so for a combined Birthday Party & Tweetup all good.

Summary: Fun time, good people, good food, hard to get a table.
