One week later, same site, Premium fuel for 100 miles prior to the test, 6g used.  Weight not reset on AP-22 due to darkness at test site (bring a flashlight dummy), so was 3901lb should have been 3936 lbs.

Lots of wheelspin:

mph s g ft hp
10 0.87 0.52 6 55
20 1.74 0.52 25 112
30 2.66 0.44 59 145
40 3.75 0.39 115 170
50 5.11 0.31 205 177
60 6.68 0.27 332 189
70 8.56 0.21 512 186
Pk Power 64.6 mph 7.48 s 406ft 198 hp
Peak G 24.3 mph 2.09 s 36ft .55g

Still too much wheelspin getting to 10 mph, but much better 0-mph numbers.

Comparison of 6.86s run with 87 octane to 6.68 run with 93 octane:

mph 93
Octane
87
Octane
Delta
10 0.87 0.90 0.03
20 1.74 1.83 0.09
30 2.66 2.74 0.08
40 3.75 3.87 0.12
50 5.11 5.26 0.15
60 6.68 6.86 0.18
70 8.56 8.77 0.21

Tests on different days, but persuasive enough for me to only run premium fuel in the CTS for now.

mph 2005 2004 Delta
10 0.87 0.75 0.12
20 1.74 1.55 0.19
30 2.66 2.53 0.13
40 3.75 3.58 0.17
50 5.11 4.92 0.19
60 6.68 6.40 0.28

Vs the 2004, the resurfacing of my test site and loss of .12s 0-10 mph seems hard to overcome.
