I suspect that system was quick and easy to apply, since it only required putting a different ignition tumbler in and not a different dash panel, button, harness, etc.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_8466\" style=\"width: 901px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/2010ctsvkey.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8466\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8466\" title=\"2010ctsvkey\" src=\"http:\/\/caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/2010ctsvkey.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"891\" height=\"816\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/2010ctsvkey.jpg 891w, http:\/\/www.caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/2010ctsvkey-500x457.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 891px) 100vw, 891px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-8466\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">2010 Cadillac CTS-V keyless<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The button is much better in terms of how keyless should work, and more fun.\u00a0 The 2006-2009 Cadillac STS-V had this kind of button, and some 2010 Cadillacs do.<\/p>\n<p>Keyless ignition is generally available only on fully optioned models.\u00a0 Hopefully all future Cadillacs with keyless will have the button on the dash; it is a much more elegant solution than the previous fix.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are a couple of approaches that Cadillac has taken to keyless ignitions.
