is to pledge 1\/10 of the income of a website \/ BLOG \/ endeavor to the charity of your choice that is involved in the fight against hunger.\u00a0 It is something that I would like to get started, and to spread.\u00a0 Can you help?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Which or what charities qualify?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Any charity that is involved in helping feed the hungry.\u00a0 The money given must end up going to help feed the hungry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How can I select a Charity?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Caddyinfo.com supports the North Texas Food Bank <a href=\"http:\/\/ntfb.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/ntfb.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">You can pick a local Food Bank, or other organization or cause that is involved in helping feed the hungry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How is 1\/10 measured? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The measure is 1\/10 of the income produced by the website.\u00a0 In other words, 1\/10 of the net income after expenses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How is the Tithing checked?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The program is voluntary and self-moderating.\u00a0 Let your conscience be your guide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Isn\u2019t this a religious thing?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">This is a thing to help those who don\u2019t have enough to eat.\u00a0 If helping the poor or hungry is a religious thing to you then yes this is a religious thing.\u00a0 If it is not a religious thing to you, but just something you want to do, then that is okay too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can I still claim <em>\u201c<\/em><em>This Blog Tithes for the Hungry\u201d<\/em><\/strong><strong> if I don\u2019t have any income from my BLOG?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">That\u2019s a personal choice.\u00a0 I would decide based on whether your efforts resulted in helping feed the hungry.\u00a0 For example if your BLOG has NO income but you choose to contribute monthly to help feed the hungry out of some other source of funding, or by volunteering time or effort to help feed the hungry then you are doing it right.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why would I want my BLOG to join?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> To Help feed the Hungry<\/li>\n<li>To Encourage your Readers to Help and Give to Charities<\/li>\n<li>To communicate publically that a portion of the proceeds of the website go to Charity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Is there a Cool Logo?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">In work.\u00a0 My thinking is to have a 125\u00d7125 graphic patch that is easy to display, perhaps in a widget that contains the guidelines etc.\u00a0 Volunteers needed here with suggestions &amp;
