although I see the issue in the data file, I just don&#8217;t know what is causing it.<\/p>\n<p>Backstory:\u00a0 I continue to test &amp; tune my 2008 Cadillac STS-V with the 4.4L Supercharged VVT, DOHC V8.\u00a0 Rated from the factory at 469\u00a0hp (350\u00a0kW; all during wide open throttle.\u00a0 I am unclear what is causing this.\u00a0 The 2nd run at the same day same site is shown in blue; although it also shows a lower RPM hp peak it is much closer to the expected values.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/amsoil-retest-hptuners-2013-06-16.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-16759\" alt=\"amsoil retest hptuners 2013-06-16\" src=\"http:\/\/caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/amsoil-retest-hptuners-2013-06-16-1024x718.jpg\" width=\"584\" height=\"409\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/amsoil-retest-hptuners-2013-06-16-1024x718.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/amsoil-retest-hptuners-2013-06-16-500x351.jpg 500w, http:\/\/www.caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/amsoil-retest-hptuners-2013-06-16-427x300.jpg 427w, http:\/\/www.caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/amsoil-retest-hptuners-2013-06-16.jpg 1393w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I added a boost solenoid check to see if the boost solenoid was involved in the variance for the boost psi, but the solenoid remains at 100% duty throughout the scan.<\/p>\n<p>Even on this &#8216;cold&#8217; run, we are running into IAT2 retard of 1.3 degrees at redline, reducing total timing to 22 degrees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continue to see occasional odd data around 5500.<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of the delivered torque \/ hp appears to give a consistent method of determining progress in tuning.<\/li>\n<li>Run to run variances appear to tie to the boost variances, which suggests that these may be actual changes and not sensor variances.<\/li>\n<li>Max observed boost 9.7-10 PSI above 6300 RPM<\/li>\n<li>Max MAF lb\/min 60.5-61.5 lb\/min<\/li>\n<li>Injector Duty cycle 90-92%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ran another cold test with the Amsoil eaau6065 filter.\u00a0 More odd results from Virtual Dyno &#8212;
