6400 RPM at 23.5 Degrees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s test is a consideration of if a Cadillac STS-V supercharged VVT DOHC 4.4L V8 will make more power or less power with slightly less timing at 6400 RPM.\u00a0 I am using Hp Tuners to data log and for one graphic, and Virtual Dyno for the other graphic.<\/p>\n<p>Cadillac&#8217;s Max Torque vs RPM vs Timing table suggests that 23.5 degrees of advance is ideal at 6400 RPM, but the PCM commands more.\u00a0 So we test and see which is more right.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_16660\" style=\"width: 1026px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/MBT-Test-2013-06-07-6400.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16660\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16660\" alt=\"Torque and HP vs Timing\" src=\"http:\/\/caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/MBT-Test-2013-06-07-6400.jpg\" width=\"1016\" height=\"564\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/MBT-Test-2013-06-07-6400.jpg 1016w, http:\/\/www.caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/MBT-Test-2013-06-07-6400-500x277.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1016px) 100vw, 1016px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-16660\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Torque and HP vs Timing<\/p><\/div>\n<p>This graphic shows Delivered Torque in blue, Calc Hp in green, and timing in red.\u00a0 During this run I had also made a small adjustment to 2-3 shift points so that we get closer to redline in 2nd before the shift.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Test:<\/strong> Our focus is on 6000-6700 RPM &#8212;
