{"id":1354,"date":"2009-10-16T12:16:18","date_gmt":"2009-10-16T17:16:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/?p=1354"},"modified":"2009-10-16T13:28:34","modified_gmt":"2009-10-16T18:28:34","slug":"recycling-oil-not-just-a-good-idea-but-fun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.caddyinfo.com\/wordpress\/recycling-oil-not-just-a-good-idea-but-fun\/","title":{"rendered":"Recycling Oil:  Not just a good idea, but fun"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Changed the oil in the CTS this morning.\u00a0 Out with the old, in with the new Mobil 1 5w30 Full Synthetic.\u00a0 If you have not changed your own oil, it is easy to do, and it can eliminate any chance of carelessness with your prize vehicle.\u00a0 New oil, new oil filter, back on the road.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/drupal.caddyinfo.com\/?q=node\/177&amp;size=_original\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Oil Recycling Collector Truck\" src=\"http:\/\/drupal.caddyinfo.com\/files\/images\/recycle.preview.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"384\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I took my &#8216;used&#8217; oil over to Walmart to be recycled.\u00a0 Oil is a MUST to recycle &#8212; very bad for the environment to just dump it, and easy to recycle.\u00a0 Yes, I know that oil cames OUT of the ground, but the places it was originally did not involve the local water table, pets, or growing things.<\/p>\n<p>Most places that sell oil also have a provision to take back used oil.\u00a0 It is a good practice to take the used oil back to the place you bought the new oil.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 An oil recycling service, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.safety-kleen.com\/Pages\/Default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Safety Kleene<\/a>, was there collecting the used oil from this Walmart; I captured this snap on my cellphone.\u00a0\u00a0 The driver seemed like a nice guy.\u00a0 You can also see my CTS parked just to the right of the Recycling truck, out of the way of the traffic flow.<\/p>\n<p>Safety Kleen motto:\u00a0 Make Green Work.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><strong>Safety-Kleen enables companies to fulfill their green initiatives.
