The cyclone pump against the same pressure of 5 psi would do around 12-15 gpm.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Hedland Flow Meter\" src=\"http:\/\/ecx.images-amazon.com\/images\/I\/31ryJ88vDXL._SL500_AA300_.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hedland flow meter<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A good next experiment would be to measure the gallon per minute flow of the current setup as accurately as possible.\u00a0\u00a0 I think a flow meter like <a title=\"Hedland Flow Meter\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B005K2MTRK\/ref=biss_dp_t_asn\" target=\"_blank\">this one <\/a>if rigged in a test loop would give me a clear measure of gpm flow in the system, albeit with some added resistance due to the test setup itself. \u00a0 The meter measures measure 1 gpm up to 16 gpm across 0-250 F which should make it robust enough for my purpose.
