I enjoy reviews that recognize how people actually USE automobiles, then help suggest vehicles that would or would not be suited for that purpose. I find this type of review MUCH more useful than some car magazine reviews. It is kind of in response to what one might call the “Movie Reviewer” effect — some reviewers have become so jaded by constantly seeing movie after movie after movie (or car after car after car) that their tastes can be substantially different than a ‘regular’ consumer’s. By focusing on how Owners will actually use their car the Reviewer can give us a better recommendation.

The Cadillac DTS is a terrific used car value in terms of the size and quality of vehicle that you get for the money. Rear seat room and trunk room are excellent. The Front Wheel drive makes this an all-weather, all-year around vehicle. The Northstar V8 has good power, and the Cadillac has good acceleration, but still achieves good fuel economy on the road. The Cadillac is great for formal occasions, going to Church, business meetings — it is a formal sedan that will also be very livable for the family.
New or Used the Cadillac DTS is a good choice. When buying used, I would favor a Cadillac Certified Pre-Owned model.
