Feb 2011 Cadillac sales were up an even 70% on very strong CTS sales. CTS sales were up 124%; SRX sales were up 55%. The release mentions that CTS sales were strong due to the new Coupe release, although it also confusingly suggests the Sedan is all new. Perhaps the Coupe is succeeding in bringing more Buyers into the showroom, where they then realize that the CTS Sedan really is a better lifestyle fit? The CTS Coupe really is great looking though.
Retail sales continued to be strong, with 159% sales growth from last year.
Lots of snow days lots of places in the US make the availability of all-wheel drive on the CTS and SRX inviting, and may be a significant factor in sales.

Press Release:

February was the 13th consecutive month of year-over-year total and retail sales gains. CTS retail sales rose 159 percent, driven by strong demand for the all-new CTS Coupe and Sedan. SRX retail sales were up 62 percent compared to a year ago, and the Escalade family saw retail sale rise 27 percent versus February last year
On Cadillac CTS production figures I’d like to see a breakdown of standard and Vs, sedans, coupes and wagons. Most interested in seeing V-Wagon production. I had a standard wagon for 18 months and now drive a V-Wagon. This is by far the best vehicle I’ve ever owned.
