Experiment:
Test 96 STS with AP22, timed intervals, setting the timed intervals to begin at 0 and end at 90 mph, so that the gear change at 85 mph for the 96 STS is included in the interval. Run the car up until the 2-3 gear change. Cadillac's peak hp claim of 300 hp at 6,400 rpm should occur at 83 mph.
